In addition to public pools, it is becoming widespread increasingly that private (villa, residential) pools have also been used in the USA since the 70s, in Europe since the 80s (especially in Southern Europe), in our country since the late 90s and the beginning of this century. The first choice in Southern Europe, more common in the USA, is usually fiberglass pools. Again, in the USA, the second and third preferences of the pools whose first choice is reinforced concrete or liner coating are fiberglass pools over 60%.
Why are fiberglass pools preferred?
• Fiberglass is the material of our age.
• It has faster assembly time and impermeability.
• Fiberglass pools are the pools most resistant to heat change.
• There is less electricity consumption during use.
• Requires less pool chemical consumption during use.
• Requires less maintenance and cleaning during use; maintenance costs are less.
• Especially, thanks to its elastic structure, it absorbs ground movements and settlements on the ground better than other pool types, and is less affected by them.
