3 a) Semi-Olympic Swimming Pools In practice, six-lane training pools are constructed as 25 × 16 m.
3. b) Full Olympic Swimming Pools: The ideal size of an eight-lane swimming pool can be 50 × 25 m / minimum size 50 × 21 meters.
3. c) Water Polo Pools: It may be within the Olympic pool. If water polo is to be played in the Olympic pool, the pool water depth should be 2.20 cm. The size of the water polo field is 20 × 30 m. The special water polo pool is 33 m / 33 cmx21m in size.

Jump Pools
The depth of diving pools should be at least 3.40 m.
Deep Pools (For those who know how to swim)
The depth of such pools should be more than 1.35.
Pools of Changing Depth
The pools of varying depth have a height adjustable intermediate base. The water depth can be changed completely or partially according to need with this.
Wave pools
In wave pools, the water depth is changed by draining and filling the water and storing the difference volume. All pool sections, including the wave room, should be subjected to a continuous circulation of clean water. If a tank is used to change the level of the pool water and there is more than 20 minutes of water left in this tank, clean water should be included in the circulation. In no case should the amount of free chlorine in the tank and other volumes fall below the value in the pool water.
Shallow Pools (For those who cannot swim)
Its depth should be between 0.6 m and 1.35 m.
Pools with Water Attractions
Operation of attractions, such as underwater massage stations, bottom sprayers, current channels, countercurrent facilities, etc. should only be done with pool water or clean water. In case the system does not work in the water or air installations and channels in contact with the pool water, a flow should be provided with clean water or pool water. Not mandatory for small water installations.
Water Slide Pools
Pools for water slides should have a depth of 1.0 m and a minimum water area of 4.0 x 6.0 m. Only pool water or clean water should be used for water slides.
Children's Pools
The depth of these pools is at most 0.5 m. and have a self-contained water preparation facility.
Foot Washing Pools
Its depth should be between 0.10 m and 0.15 m. It should be planned to be on the route of the people who will enter the pool. It should be emptied. An overflow channel is not required.
Small Pools
Small pools should have a maximum area of 96 m2. They are installed according to low user load. Depending on the user load, the capacity of the water preparation facility increases. Depending on the water preparation facility capacity, the number of users per hour can be limited.
Hot Massage Pools
Massage pools are pools that foam with the push of hot water and air, where people are present at the same time or separately, and have a continuous circulation of clean water. The water temperature is maximum 37 oC.
Hot Massage Pool (Private)
Independent massage pools are such that their users cannot pass to other pool facilities. The seating areas of the users in the massage pools should be clearly arranged. A water volume of at least 0.4 m3 should be foreseen for each seat. Their volume should be at least 1.6 m3 and the water depth at most 1.0 m.
Hot Massage Pools (Combined Use)
Combined use massage pools are built inside the swimming pool and swimmers can use them according to their wishes. The volume of each individual massage pool should be at least 1.6 m3, and the water depth should be at most 1.0 m. By increasing the capacity of preparation equipment of such facilities, they can be operated together with the preparation facility of the swimming pool or with a separate preparation facility. The volume of the general pool with hot massage pool must be at least 4m3.
Therapy Pools
It's for swimmers who are threatened with high infection. (hospitals, clinics, etc.). The water depth should be 1.35 m at most. The water temperature should be about 35oC. The design of the pool should be designed in the most appropriate way to the type of treatment and should allow for intervention. Therapy pools should have an ozone-graded water preparation facility.
Motion Pools
The water depth in the movement (gymnastic) pools should be at most 1.35m and these pools should have an ozone stage water preparation facility.
Cold Water Pools (Shock pools)
Depths should be between 1.10 and 1.35m and water areas should be up to 10 m2. Cold water pools with a volume not exceeding 2 m3 can be operated continuously with the flow of filling water. In this case, the water temperature should not exceed 15oC. The filling water should be chlorinated so that the free chlorine value in the pool is 0.3 - 0.6 mg / lt. The water flowing into the overflow channel should be discharged and supplemented with clean water (from the network). The added water should not be less than 60 lt per person. The discharge point of the filling water should be at the bottom of the pool. Cold water pools with a volume of more than 2 m3 must be water preparation facilities.
